Moruo Communications in Johannesburg arranged for Sasha Corporation’s founder, Karl Corbett, and Sasha's lead consultant on employee support systems, Judy Colemon, to deliver a three-day conference in Johannesburg, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, May 5,6,7 2003.
Karl
Corbett is a highly sought-after consultant and public speaker.
Under his leadership, Sasha has become the premiere consulting firm on
employee retention in the United States. Sasha's training for front line
supervisors was the first of its kind, and has been delivered around the
world in audio and video versions. Work ethic training for front
line workers is another Sasha first, teaching production employees why
they are so important, and why it matters for them to be at
their best.
Mr. Corbett's background as a systems
analyst drives his development of workforce retention
systems and creation of the Employment Dynamics process. Current clients
include healthcare alliances, restaurant chains, retail service companies
and America’s largest grocer. He’s a widely read author through
his articles on HR.com and Sasha's HR News.
She pioneered the creation of the
Transportation Resources Project, a collaboration between government
and social service, which created a transportation system or the Welfare
to Work movement in the US.
Ms. Colemon is a dynamic speaker, never
afraid to address difficult issues in a realistic fashion. Her tactics
can help conference attendees forge the public – private sector alliances
needed for success today.
The conference
will cover two tracks:
On the training
track, material for front line supervisors will help conference
attendees develop leadership within their walls. Work ethic training for
front line staff will also be shared. Mr. Corbett says: “The
tools we’ll share at this conference work for any industry,
in any country, because we have tapped into some secrets of human
nature. Our success in manufacturing has been matched in health care, food
service, retail and non-profit environments.”
On the systems development track, the Employment Dynamics process will be shared, with advice on using it for effective development of eight employee retention systems. Case study material will help conference attendees understand, in practical terms, how to make good things happen after the conference. Conference handouts alone will be worth the price of admission. Clients of Sasha have seen their employee turnover reduced by seventy percent or more, saving millions of US dollars per year.
